Come join us on May 6th for a nice easy run as our season opener. We will be starting in Calabogie and taking a scenic route down the K&P and some back roads/seasonal roads towards McDonald’s Corners then looping back through the North Frontenac Parklands. We’ll stop at the Clyde Forks Mine and a lake-side lunch. The total route is about 110 km. Bring your lunch and fuel if you think you’ll need it.
OFATV trail permit is required. We are capping registration at 25 machines so register early. Exact starting location will be sent to you once you register.

Awesome run thanks to all
Would it be possible to get a copy of the route to use at a later date? I’ve tried to map it out on Quadon but am not sure regarding the sections not on the K&P and the directions to the mine.
Hi Christine,
At this time, you won’t be able to route it on QuadON. About half of the route we will be on isn’t currently on the map. You should be able to record it as we go though to keep it for later.
The ride info was just sent out. Please check your email and your spam since I sent them bcc to everyone.
Thank you to all who booked a spot on this ride. As you can see the ride is now fully booked. Ride details will be emailed to all booked participants. This will include the staging area location.
Where in Calabogie please.
thank you send details
Hi OVATVC admins, I am trying to add a second machine to my booking for May 6th. Are you able to help with this? Please let me know if you need me to do something with my booking to get a second machine included. Thanks, John Sloss
Yes there is trailer parking at the staging area for the ride. It can get busy at this location so try to come a little early.
Just wondering if there is parking as I have to trailer to get there
So am I, it will be a great event.
Looking forward to the ride.
