Due to significant flooding, thick ice and deep snow pack on the trails including many washouts and fast flowing water causing dangerous trail conditions, the trails remain officially closed. We expect to open the trails once the water levels have subsided to safe levels. Trail maintenance crews are busy checking trails, removing downed trees and repairing damage as it’s found. Depending on how fast the spring melt continues to happen we expect more trail washouts to occur before water levels start to drop.

The OVRT and K&P rail trails are passable but please take care and travel slowly should you decide to venture out. Please refrain from spinning tires and causing trail damage!
